We are so excited that you are interested in joining our team! Whether you are pre-law, have mock trial experience, or are just hearing about mock trial for the first time, we welcome you to try out for our program! The Illinois Trial Team is filled with members from all sorts of majors, backgrounds, and career paths.
If you are interested in trying out, you will need to attend one info night and at least one workshop. The exact dates of our info nights and workshops will be released at a later date, but you can expect them to be within the first few weeks of classes. Our info nights will explain a bit more about our program and the process of trying out. Once you attend an info night, you will receive our tryout packet containing all the relevant information you need to prepare for your tryout. If any of this seems intimidating or confusing, don’t worry! At our workshops, our current team members can work one-on-one with you to help you put your best foot forward when it comes time to tryout. Once you attend one info night and at least one workshop, you will be eligible to sign up for a tryout slot.
